There's so much around now that relates to Poland etc - but the Maryport article (below) could be a great little case study as it is focused at such a local scale. The actual piece that ran on Radio 4 PM (tues 25 mar 08) might be available as a podcast too. But this written piece with photos carries the key info and could be a basis for further research - plus the comments make great reading as they help to frame the debate over EU migration.
