I have just posted up on the SLN forum a list of url links for various BBC news clips linked to aspects of the global challenge module for Edexcel B and hopefully the Going Global module. Have a look, it should save you some time searching for links.

The £800 million pound railway!

Just missed this on BBC 2, gutted!

A two part programme showing the behind the scenes decision making and changes to St Pancras station. Here is the Tv listings info from the BBC...

A team of spin doctors and marketing gurus have to sell Commercial Director Mike Luddy's vision for St Pancras station. They need to convince press and public that a place synonymous with prostitution, drugs and violent crime has been transformed into the chic destination station for Europe.

Hi Richard
I would think that Norfolk would be a good place to use as an example. The rebranding of Burnham Market as "Chelsea by the Sea" is one example. You also have Roys of Wroxham: the World's largest village store...
There's also "Kingdom Country", related to the Stephen Fry series.

Have just added some images of sunny Norfolk taken over the last few days to my Flickrpages

Will put some Norfolk rebranding materials together over the course of the next week or so.

Hi Richard
If you're uploading the suggested references to the GeoFactsheets and GeoFiles e.g. Issue numbers and content and how they fit with the specification, that's fine.
If you're uploading the ACTUAL GeoFiles that's not.
A while ago, GeoFile offered a sample document and I downloaded it and added a link, and got a stroppy e-mail asking me to remove the link even though it was to their own free sample.
I think people would still find a list of suggested documents useful, and can then decide whether they want to pay for subscription.
Thanks for contacting me !
